Dr. Morris and the rest of the staff at the Animal Clinic of Kearney have taken care of our multiple cats and dogs for many years. I first became a client with them when Dr. Morris first started his practice. At that time, he was still taking care of large animals and was our veterinarian for our horses too. We called him out very late one night when one of my horses cut his heel bulb very deep, and he patched him back up without any further issues. He was by our side and provided support and advice for us when our beloved German Shepherd had cancer, and helped explain to us all of the proper alternatives. He has assisted us with our pets as they have grown from youngsters to their final days and has always been so sincere and helpful, providing well-educated information, taking the time to explain all situations with the level of detail that never leaves a question. He successfully re-attached both torn ACL's in our cat, which had finally given out from a possible birth defect. The day after his surgery, Clyde was up and sauntering around with his new knees like he had never had a problem. He had no side effects or follow-up issues with that surgery, which is outstanding. Recently, one of my senior German Shepherds was diagnosed with arthritis in her hips. Dr. Morris took x-rays and explained everything he saw in the x-rays, showing us diagrams from books and photos of normal hips compared to Hazel's hips. He knew that I was not fond of medicating, and suggested that we try Laser therapy on Hazel. They have the state-of-the-art equipment on-site, and I now bring Hazel in for regular Laser therapy treatments, which have brought her comfort and increased mobility. I would highly recommend The Animal Clinic of Kearney to anyone looking for qualified, professional veterinary services.
Our dog was in need of surgery for a parathyroid tumor. Dr. Hamm & his team delivered amazing care to our dog & put us at ease through the process! They were sensitive to our dogs needs as well. We highly recommend the Animal Clinic of Kearney!
The Animal Clinic of Kearney has been a life-saver for our family. We have a large fur family, so finding a vet who is reasonably priced but still truly cares about the animals is difficult to find in the Northland. They have been very flexible in making last minute appointments since we have unpredictable schedules. They have been genuinely concerned with our animals, even calling to follow up, sometimes multiple times. I would recommend Dr. Morris and his office to anyone who wants someone genuine and affordable. We have had a great experience with the groomer as well. Our cats have never looked so good and been so happy after being shaved!
