The ham didn't even taste like meat, let alone ham! It was more like the flavor of chewy old grease!
Perfect local family restaurant! Prices are perfect for the plate size! Staff is always friendly!

There were 4 guests at my table and we ordered 6 different breakfast meals. Not one was satisfactory, not one!
I’m not sure what happened honestly. I don’t know if the group of friends at the front register that our waitress kept going to was distracting her. If they worked there they should have been doing their jobs. All I know is my husband and I called my dad five or ten minutes after we placed our order, and my phone log says the phone call was at 6:20. At 6:50 we still hadn’t got our food. We don’t like causing a scene, so we offered to pay for our drinks and left. I’m really kind of bummed because when we got there the diner reminded me of home and all the staff and patrons were so friendly. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
And even after bringing the aforementioned to the attention of the waitress, she did nothing to remedy the situation!
That in itself should've made it obvious that the food was as bad as we informed them it was!
The food was absolutely terrible! The waitress was not only rude to us, she also interjected her own inappropriate opinions into a conversation between a parent and their child!
I've always been willing to give places a second and third chance, but wouldn't even consider it at this place!

I'm certain it was apparent to anyone that looked at our plates when they til then from our table that there was not more than a few bites out of things!
The biscuits and gravy did not taste like anything other than some cardboard. The sausage gravy didn't taste even remotely close to what it should taste like.
I got the catfish diner with slaw and fried pickles. The catfish was good, but bland and a little crispy but everything else was really good! They were really slow when we went so they seated us in the back area, where we we were all alone which was kind of nice. The only real flaw I found was their service was rather slow ... They actually forgot to bring our appetizer until after our main dishes came, but they didn't charge us for the appetizer so I wasn't upset. I would definitely try it again!
Eat there three to four times weekly. Great breakfast served up to 11:00am. Waiters are great as well as the food.
The food was so bad that I wouldn't even bring it home to my dogs!
There was an hour plus wait that day as well.
