We had to bring our youngest cat, and he also found the room to his liking. We kept it colder than he likes at night, but he found a workaround (picture). For a regular Comfort Inn, I wasn't expecting a lot, but I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a room in the Kearney area.
This was the worst Comfort Inn we have ever stayed in. The beds were hard and there was no water pressure. You couldnt even take a shower. We were not happy and we love Comfort Inn.
This place is not a hotel to stay at if you are African American! My girlfriend booked this hotel for her and I for one night. We get to the check in counter at 9:15 pm ready to go to sleep when the lady behind the desk looks at me and says your not on the reservation for 2 adults just 1. She then took the next 10 minutes getting my girlfriends current mailing address, Phone number, copy of her id and asking her for document verification. My fried with kids got checked in by the same lady in under 3 minutes and we didn't add his kids to the reservation list. Last time we stay here!
The lobby was recently updated, not sure how long ago, but definitely can tell that it's been within the last year or two. Room was clean and bathroom was clean. Beds werea little to soft for me taste, I prefer a firmer mattress, but I'm not going to complain. Will definitely come back stay in the hotel again.
When we arrived, our requested first floor room had not been cleaned so they moved us to the second floor. The mattress pad on the bed was stained and they did not have a clean one to replace it. The room was not clean. The toilet was moldy under the rim and the floor had urine spots on the tile. The carpet was filthy. When checking out of our room, I saw a cock roach crawling across the top of the dresser where the TV sat. When I informed the front desk, they said they would make a note of it. I would not stay here again. The only reason we did was b/c they allowed pets.
We are here to view the solar eclipse, and although the place is packed, we have received great customer service from every employee we encountered. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the room has a microwave and fridge, which is nice.
